Is there anyway to soften old suction cups that have spent too much time in
the water. The ones holding my spray bar underwater for my Eheim arent
holding anymore. They are hard and stiff.

Replacement ones are quite cheap to buy. You will probably find them at
your LFS. Just pull the old one off and take it in with you, because there
are a few different types.

Maybe a dab of Petroleum Jelly (Vaseline)?
Not sure if this is safe for fish!..
