Well, I have been reading this post for a while and I thought I would
see what you think.Let me know I value your input.

125 gal.
2 firemouths
2 gold severum
2 red parots (my wife thought they were cool)
4 corys
4 otos
1 pleco
1 mystery snail
lighly planted for the severums and snail
lots of rockwork
ug on 1/3 of the tank
and a 320gph canister filter
2 200 watt titanium heaters w/remote thermostat 79;deg
ph/ 7.4
wh/120 ppm
160 watts sun gro flouresents/ 13hrs a day
food/ mosquito larva 2-wk mysis shrimp 2-wk flakes and pellets
regular and the algea and shrimp pellets for the corys and pleco

Sounds fine to me -- the only thing is that 320 Gallons per hour is a
little light. We recommend 330 for a 55 gallon, so you may want to
double up on your filtration. (But keep in mind, I keep Oscars, the
messiest tropical known to man --)

I forgot to mention that the ug filter has a 200 gph (Ithink ) power
head
15-20% water changes every 2 weeks or so. the ug is only on 1/3 of the
tank and I clean gravel evry water change.
