The recurrent theme for this year for the Silicon Valley Aquarium
Society has been speakers unable to come at the last minute. It has
happened once again this month. Our previously announced speaker is
unable to come. Don't worry though, our own Chuck Rambo will be giving
a Lake Malawi Travelog. We are most grateful that he was able to step
up and speak on Saturday with only one day's notice. THANK YOU, CHUCK!
Many of you may have noticed that our website at svas.info has been
down for a few days. We are still experiencing technical difficulties
getting it restored to working order, but it will be soon, I assure
you.
For the moment you can get some information by reading the front page
of the Yahoo group website (where this email comes from).
NEW START TIME FOR MEETINGS!!!!
We are happy to announce that Round Table loves us so much that they
have agreed to allow us to start our meetings earlier starting this
month. We have the rooms reserved from 6pm and plan to have Chuck's
talk begin at 7pm. That's a full half hour earlier than we have
started since we moved to the new Round Table. So, come early to order
food, check in for the auction and bowl show (open to all fish this
month), and chat with your friends. Show your appreciation to Round
Table as well, by ordering lots of food. Consider taking home some
pizza to have for lunch on Sunday.
The place to be Saturday night is Round Table Pizza, 4400 Stevens
Creek Blvd in San Jose.
