5 or so years ago the glass manufactures made a low lead level glass
that is just like acrylic, as far as clarity.
Why hasn't this glass come down to fishtanks or if it has could you
give me an address for shopping/comparing?
Thanks.

You dumb ass it was not low lead it was low iron, Iron is what takes
away the crystal clarity in glass its called E glass you ****ing

up with a clue or two whole your looking. Eglass or low E or low iron
glass is clean on the edges not greenish color.there is your first

Acrylic fish tank is very lightweight. Especially if you compare them to the glass tank, acrylic tank is very light. Of course, when you put a water tank will be very heavy, but the tanks will be more easy to transport. Acrylic cylinder is also very clear. The visibility of the fish better than glass. Another advantage is that the shape of acrylic tanks, you can find all kinds! Bow front aquarium is my favorite. They look better then regular rectangular tank.
