Someone gave me a bunch of fluorite from their old aquarium and I was
wondering if I could use it as a substrate for my pond along with
river rock?
Seems its used a lot for planted aquariums so I think it should be ok
in my pond which just has goldfish and koi in it.

Cheers,
Chris

Adding gravel and rocks to the pond will make it a lot harder to clean. I
know from experience.

Flurite is not good for your pond, If its in a big dose. And yes if you put rocks in your pond then it create some difficulty in cleaning pond that's true. But its looks good.
