Well seems I must be doing something right.. My Kenyi, Red Zebra and Electra
Yellow ( again ) have dropped thier broods.. I now have around an extra 100
Malawi's with three fish yet to drop thier broods.. I was not expecting so
many Kenyi's or Zebra's.. I may have to put some in the local Newsprint to
sell off some of my newly aquired stock..

Yah, tell me about it... I was thinking... once we get to the breeding
stage, at what population level would we need to have to ensure enough
genetic diversity?

Being that most of these fish it was thier first time breeding ( the
exception is the Labiochromis ) I was not expecting so many babies for thier
first brood.. Holy Smokies.. Looks like I am going to have to put an ad in
the LNP and sell of some of the stock. I am thinking $3 a fish is more than
fair..Anyone had any luck at selling thier younger cich's this way??

The local newspaper is likely to be a waste of your money. For the same $20 an
ad would cost you could buy a cheap grow-out tank.
Talk to local fish stores, fish clubs and look at www.aquabid.com. Good luck!

I have one LFS that would trade for store credit... I still have $25 left
over from the last time I brought some fish to him.. Not much in his store I
need or really want.. I know he was willing to take both species of these
guys.. As these seem to sell very quickly in his store.. Approixmately 25 to
30 Kenyi's a week.. He has a hard time getting in the Red Zebra's though..
And claims these sell relatively fast as well... I am not sure if this guy
would be willing to pay cash for them, which would be best for myself and
confines.. What is needed for an AquaBid account?? Anyone here deal on
there? These would be PU and cash only.. Anyone here intrested in getting
some more cich's as well? If your in Southern Cali let me know...
