There are a few there... one guy has one that 'looks like' a female, but he
doesn't know much about it... the others that ARE for sure females, are pick
up only in Minneapolis, MN.... so the logistics aren't working in my favor
there...

I thought about finding someone in MN who could pick up and ship for me...
but that's a pipe dream....

Actually Red, wish I could oblige, however... a marine biologist just
visited the our church. He's doing research on the lakes and "riverlets"
springing off the Amazon. I got him to come over one afternoon. Seems I
have two very healthy boys (just figured it out after he showed me exactly
where to look..) The third on isn't doing too well, but he said it looks to
him as if she's female, we couldn't get her close to the glass, out from
behind the pot, to take a good look at her. He's suggesting I isolate her
for awhile because she's not gaining any weight and looks "pale" to him.

I'm just about to get a 75 gallon set up, so things won't be so crowded with
all 3 of them in the same tank.

I definitely will let you know when I find out about her, and if I run
across another Midas owner in the area.
