Warning, the preceding message was a copy of the "Bagel" virus. This
virus is very dangerous!

Not from him directly, I don't believe... this is the way this
particular virus spreads... it reads his data files from outlook
express... it then grabs the name of his ISP by reading his return
email address. From that it generates a message that states "warning,
your account will be suspended due to...from the staff, or from
support of etc.. and fills in his ISP.

I provide tech support for a cable company.. this virus is really
really nasty. we 15 - 20 calls and/or email messages a day about this
particular virus because the message is worded in such a way as to
make people believe we (the ISP) are sending it out and that they have
to click on the attachment to turn their account back on. Once they
click, they are infected and the virus propagates again.

That message was almost word for word the same one(s) that we keep
seeing. There are several various messages that it uses.

If your system is set to auto-save attachements, then you are more
than likely infected... if you click on that attachement you are
definately infected. We, along with ISP's across the country are
working with the virus companies to stop this thing but it keeps
mutating just enough to get through the virus screens.
