I am new to goldfish keeping and would like some advice.I have 4 fish, 2
that are gold and white and 2 all gold, typical 'goldfish'. The largest all
gold one (3") has 3 areas on its tail fin that can only be described as
'white spots'. Each area is no bigger than 1/2 cm round and has several
pin-prick spots on it. I've treated the water with a solution intended for
fungus and white spot, but if anything, the areas are getting bigger. The
other all gold fish now has 3 pinprick spots on its tail fin. However, the
speckled fish are unaffected.
Any suggestions?

Quarantine the white spot fish and do daily water changes
with treated water. You may also have to treat for Ich

I'd also do a regular water change on the non-affected fish
too, just to be safe.
