Is there a web site that lists plants and their nitrate consumption? Trying
to figure out what plants absorb the most nitrates. Thanks!

Emergent plants assimilate more NO3 than submersed plants, I do not
know a study/site that will put all the aquatic plant's individual
uptake rates together, but wetland studies on wastewater treatment,
particularly one of my past professors, Dr Reddy, has a book out on
Aquatic Plants for Wastewater Treatment and Resource Recovery and you
might try looking into emergent wetland plants.
Submersed plants such as Hydrilla,Hornwort, E azurea, Utricularia,
Gloss, anything with a breakneck growth rate are good generally.
Emergent plants are generally much more efficent and more concentrated
in terms of biomass, since they are % wise less water. Submersed
aquatic plants are 9 parts water and one part Dry mass.
I typically get about 3ppm or so of NO3 per day on average in a fullly
planted high light tank.
