Needle-like leaves

I have a 75 litre tank with Sera substrate. Using DIY CO2 and 55W
flourescent.
I am having problems as I usually end up with needle-like leaves with some
plants in my planted aquarium.

Could it be, that you have plants, that have needle like leaves? It
happens....
