So what is the question.....if it looks like a duck, and walks like a duck, and
quacks like a duck it MUST be a .......Hampster ..........I think not.....

Carole,

There are solid white koi and solid white koi. If it metallic, then it is a
platinum ogon. If it not metallic it is a shiro-muji, which because of lack
of color are traditionally culled out. Of course there is the shiro
matsuba, which has a black pine cone pattern in the scales on a non-metallic
fish, or the gin matsuba is the metallic version. Each has its own value.
