Geezer From The Freezer

I noticed my moor was dropping eggs on Saturday morning. I went to
buy a plastic tub to put the eggs in and when I got back and was looking
in the tank, I spotted two baby fry. I'm surprised I could see them
in that amount of water.
Anyway the tub I have put them in is 14.5 litres in total. I have
used some of the tank water from their parents tank and have only
filled the tub a couple of inchs high. I have also added an airstone.
For food I have added some frozen spinach to a container of tank water
(let it defrost) and have left it. I tend to pour a bit of the green
water into the tub.
Questions. How often should I change the water for the fry (how much also)
will the food (green water) foul the water up in the tub? If so, how long
after feeding should I change any water?
Any help is appreciated as I have never dealt with fry before.

I ended up bringing a few fry home from a lfs one day with some fantails I
purchased. I guessed them to be only a few days old. I fed them cooked egg
yolk (change water often since yolk clouds water and makes a mess!) and
finely crushed (to a powder) flaked food, which I crushed myself. I had
nothing to put them in, so I had them in a stainless steel mixing bowl with
one rock on the bottom for them to hide behind, and an airstone for
circulation. I changed their water completely, and wiped out the bowl,
every day. I caught the fry on a tablespoon and left them there while I
changed their water, and I used water I kept in a jug which was same temp as
the room. They did fine. It turned out, they were swordtails. One got
eaten by a fantail after I put them into the main tank, but I still have the
larger one "Yoda", who thinks he's a gf! He has bonded with my telescope
and follows it around, but I notice that he disappears at night, so I think
he sleeps under a rock cluster (he's in a tank with 5 gf, no heater, and he
eats the same as the gf). He was born around the beginning of August, so is
only 3 1/2 months old.
