I got some Juwel background stuff that you silicon onto the back
of the tank - well it seems to be coming loose at the bottom.
Would pushing it back with a rock be ok, or will this entice anaerobic bacteria
to grow?

Any advice?

Hang on, you're supposed to stick the stuff inside the tank? I've
always attached it to the outside back with sellotape...

Anaerobic bacteria is bacteria that does not need oxygen to thrive.

No, I am fairly new to fish, but I'm about 2 hours north of Toronto. Why do
you ask?
