Can Blackmoor's survive in a Tropical fish tank?
I have a 5 foot long tank by say erm 3 foot high..
The fish in are guppies and swordtails...
I just wanted to know whether the moors will get scared if fast moving fish
and will it be ok in warm water...

I wouldn't advise keeping any goldfish in a tropical tank. You're right in
that they will get very stressed by the fast moving tropicals. It would also
be extremely difficult to make sure they were getting an adequate diet. With
the little tropicals there the Moore wouldn't stand a chance at getting any
food, especially as they always end up partially sighted too. Even if it did
manage to get hold of a bit of food, tropical fish and goldfish have
completely different dietary requirements so it just wouldn't work I'm
afraid.

The temperature would be fine, but both sets of fish would suffer (Mel told you
about
the moors). Moors will make more mess than tropicals and this *could* affect the
tropicals.
Keep goldfish and tropicals seperate!

Could you try a tank separator? You have a large tank, so I don't see why
they can't share, if you section off part of the tank for the gf. You can
get tank dividers anywhere there are aquarium supplies.

the fish are still sharing the same water wich the goldfish will pollute the
water with all the wastes they produce so even a divider wont be a good idea
