Hey guy, _I_ will pay for an overnight!
It ain't a big deal for me. Check or paypal.
I've got room for a common gf, some corys and perhaps a pl*co, depending
on the type.
If it can wait until next Sunday I'd be willing to meet you in SLO
(roughtly 1/2 way).

Hey Don. You will have to forgive me, SLO?? *brain phart* The pl*c's I have
are common's, ( we are keeping one tank up, my wifes malawi's, as she can't
bear to part with her critters with include her albino bristle nose
pairing )... I would not know exactly how to prepare the fish for an over
night trip via UPS or FeDEX as I have never done that method before...

I'm not an expert, but here goes...
Two fish bags per fish. Enough water to cover the fish to a depth three
times the water the fish draws. "puff up" the bag so that it is
completely filled with air. Rubber band as usual.
Some like to add a drop or two of Methylene Blue.
Take the second bag, put it on upside down to the first bag, rubber band
as usual.
Take a square box that has roughly 9 times the volume of the bag. Fill
the bottom up with "popcorn", put the bag in, put popcorn around the
bag, put popcorn over the bag.
Seal the box.
Go to the shipping office, send. (I forget which of the USPS express or
priority methods is faster but go with the faster one.)
Faith of bettatalk fame adds a little chemical handwarmer pad sorta
thing... But then again she designed a cardboard "space capsule" for
shipping her fish...

Both ends of the shipment have reasonable temperatures so that shouldn't
be an issue.
Anybody else wanna chime in with some tips?

There is a water garden place near me (Ventura County) that could take
the Koi and the common goldfish. Closer to you is Van Ness Water
Gardens in Upland, you might give them a call. That beats tossing
them out on the lawn. I could give a home, such as it is, to the
guppies.

I think I will give the water gardens a call... They are only about 45
minetes away, thus the survivability of the fish i think would be in the
favour of the fish, I may have gotten a home for the Moor I have, and will
find out sometime this week.. If you don't mind Don, I will let you know
what the Water Gardens say. I very much appreciate your willingness to take
time to meet me at SLO.. Now Charles, about the Gupp's... You come for
them there yours, including the fry at various stages of growth...( about 40
or 50 of them... ) The adults are decent looking, nothing fantastic, but
decent looking.. I will pop back in here sometime this week, as I am
scrambling to find a place to move into and also finishing off some work
needed in this place etc...
Thank you Guys a bunch...
