A while ago, I mentioned that I had one fish which floated after a water
change for 12 to 24 hours and then was fine. Ingrid, you said she is
sensitive.
Anyways, I now don't feed the night before or morning of a water change. I
do the changes when my infant daughter is napping around 10am, so right
after the change, I fed them only shelled peas, and my "floater" has been
fine. I have done this twice now and she isn't having problems. Maybe I
changed the water too soon after she ate since I normally feed around 8am,
and change the water 2 hours later. Restricting their food seems to have
helped, and I just wanted to share that in case anyone else has a similar
problem.
