I have a handsome calico GF which measures 3 inches long, with a mouth big
enough to suck up and spit out bottom gravel. Today another of my white
clouds turned up missing...
Who are the usual suspects?

He got 'em, you bet. I have a GF about 4 3/4 inches long not including
tail. I, about once a month put 4 or 5 five feeder guppies into the
tank. They get eaten one a day. I've never seen him go after the
feeders. I think he gets them at night when they are less active and
easier to catch. Darn GF is as healthy and robust as a fish can be.
