nitrate 20 nitrite 1.0 help

i have a 25 gallon tank with 4 small goldfish. I Think the nitrite is kind
of high. the tank has a bio-wheel and has been running for about 6 weeks. I
did a 2 20% water changes this week and the nitrites are still high. will
this go away soon?

Do 50% (or more) water changes. Remember, 20% leaves 80% of the bad
stuff! And do them daily if need be.
Adding salt (0.1% or so) may be beneficial.
Some brands of water conditioner (Prime, others)
also de-toxify nitrites.
I suspect you're almost there, so don't give up!

if you dont get the nitrites down to acceptable levels it will kill the biobugs. do
