some time ago, I had asked if anyone knew where I could get live foods for
the GFs. well I was only asking that becuase I had read that live foods
improved the qualitiy of life for a Gf. I guess I imagined the gf being
stimulated by the presence of prey.
anyway I gave up on that thread becuase I got my answer. Its not that
simple. I dont want to take anything away from anyone who breeds live fish
foods for a living but I'm sticking with ingrid and jo an.
I currently have two Gfs in 10g tank, a aquaclear500, a rock, and an
airstone (no gravel). the fish look healthier than ever. as far as eye
candy I used to have a petstore ornamental log and fake plant all in one
thing inside the tank. now I have it behind the tank. It provides a 3d
back drop. everything I needed to know and mean really neaded to know
(as opposed to the petstore oriented junk literature pushed in hopes
of selling setups to nonknowledgable people like my self)i've found in
http://puregold.aquaria.net/ . so cheers and many thanks to ingrid as well as others
willing to share knowledge on the science of keeping the fry alive and
kicking
this is my website. im going to be updating it soon with curent pics of the
fish I have to go pick up some film cause my digital cam isnt fast enough
to catch a still of the gfs. www.alkadmzu.com

break all ten commandments and maybe some that didn't make the cut.

Not at all sure I'm down with that...

yeah sorry my sister sais the same thing. she's a pentecostal.
you have to know me to get my humor and not get confused.
As for the comment, it was writen a
long time ago and I cant remember what my mind set was at the time.
That front page is going away soon anyway cuase im not sure
I feel like orienting any new unix users as I my self am using
the computer less and less everyday.

Goldfish however, the two that are in my ten gallon aquarium;
have totaly captured my attention.
this is why I even put a link
to my personal webpage -key words here are personal webpage- on a
newsgroup.
I was working on putting the most recent pics of my animals on my page all
night last night.
check em out ( http://alkadmzu.com/check_out_the_animals.htm )
and sorry if I offended you with the comment. I recently stopped to think
about how this may offend those who have high regards for the contents of
the old testament. dont mind it,
it was a technical statement, and a broad one at that. meening that you should do what you want
while your alive and not leave it for the after life. Im not encoraging
anyone to go out and sleep with their neihbors companion or kill anyone
and unfortunately I havent read the bible in about eighteen years so I
cant remember any more of the ten comandments.
anyway thanks for the hit and be well.

Why should you apologize for that? Do they (the Believers) apologize
for their fanatical need to force those beliefs down our throats?
I find nearly everything about every theistic religions to be highly
offensive, but I have never gone door to door distributing Rationalist
pamphlets trying to win converts.

What you meant, I hope, is that you apologize if your comments were
interpreted to mean you advocated breaking any of the Decalogue
admonitions. As a set of ethical guidelines and rules for civilized
behavior, the majority are quite supportable. (I'm still a undecided
on the "covet" business tho.)

(And not to put words in Donald's mouth, I'm sure that was his
intended meaning -- I know him, and he's decidedly NOT one of
those fanatics referred to above. Although I'm certain he'll
be peeved by my posting this in r.a.f.g instead of alt.ethics
or whatever. Sorry, Don....)

(Obligatory goldfish content):
I got a 2nd Moor yesterday, Buford, destined to be a tankmate
for Beulah. Both are that lovely velvety black with just
the barest hint of yellow belly. Pix to follow someday.

Gunther,
