Hi all - as my title suggests, very soon we're going to put in wood floors in
the room adjacent to where my fish are (but the house is contemporary, meaning
no walls, so it's basically the same room).

Should I worry about the fish during construction? I'm already planning to move
the tank into the other room once the floor is put in, I'd really hate to have
to move it beforehand also.

If there's possible danger to them (I'm thinking fumes/debris) are there any
precautions I can take -besides- moving the tank? Thanks! :-]

cover the tank and especially surround the air pump with polyester batting to filter
anything going in there. however, if you use glue on the floors, make sure it is low
VOC and then change water after you are done for the day. Ingrid
