Here's to my longtime pet goldfish I bought from an Albertson's market
(simply called "Fishy") who went to the Rainbow Bridge February 09, 2004
after a 2 week battle with dropsy. Despite being permanently disabled by
"swimbladder" problems a few years ago. I took special care of her while
she resided on the bottom of a bare-bottom glass tank without other
problems. In ways, it was more fulfilling to care for her than having a
perfectly healthy fish that could swim. Always a fighter, she had a
strong will to live despite her handicaps, but this time it was just too
much. Sad to see her go, but I know she's in a better place now....
S.I.P. (swim in peace), Fishy. I'll see you again one day. :) -TK

I hate walking through the LFS.. I always seem to see one or two fish that
need the attention, eithier because they have a deformity or they are
sick... I won't mention the rattie I "saved" from a LPS yesterday.. She was
going to be food, but being a dumbo rex, I thought I could provide an
excellent home for her...
