Smart Goldfish to Donate: Houston (Northwest Area) by
news.giganews.com
Hi,
I may have two goldfish to donate in case I have to move. One of them is
relatively aware and friendly, for a goldfish. So I did not just want
to put them in a nearby pond or lake. They are both around three inches
at present.
If someone has experience taking gentle care of goldfish:...

Coat hangers work great to snag a fetus by
Tynk[_9_]
Tynk told me that a wire coat hanger is perfect to snatch a fetus out
with. You have to make sure you embed that end (hook) into the fetus
though as it can be a real bitch to get back out without ripping up
your womb and monkey, so just make sure you really want to snag and
remove that future crumb...

Goldfish Got Better by
charles
Kind of a pretty one, long fin blue shubunkin. This will be it's
third summer. It had problems with the swim bladder, didn't fill, and
was continually fighting to get near the surface. In the last couple
weeks it has recovered, now has neutral buoyancy.

floating issues with goldfish by
Venus
Goldfish were bred for shallow ponds with plenty of surface area. Aquariums are designed for tropical fish, not goldfish. If you goldfish exhibits uncontrolled swimming, or has flipped over and is floating close to the surface, it may be suffering from too much water pressure.
Lower the water...

Swim bladder disease feeding question? by
Robin[_2_]
My goldfish has swim bladder disease, so I have set him up in shallow water
and smooshed up some peas for him to feed on. My question is, should I also
be feeling him the usual flakes, or only feed the peas for two weeks until
the problem is fixed? I have only had him for about a week, the other...

Fresh food (veggies/fruit) for Comet Goldfish a good idea? by
Bibo
I regularly feed my 2 large 3-year-old comet goldfish their usual
pellets, and they appear healthy and happy in their new 33 gallon
tank. However--despite the fact these pellets claim to have
everything the fish need--I'm thinking of throwing in fresh food, such
as finely chopped mango,...

Hi,
I have an established tank - about 100 litres -5 fantails and the goldfish

Goldfish Question by
Joel[_2_]
I recently placed the goldfish that have been in my pond (since May)
in a 30 gallon tank for the winter, they are fine, yet they seem to
love the aerator, they swim up and down through the bubbles and the go
CRAZY, splishing and splashing and speeding around the tank.
Is this normal?
