Alex
I have had this fantale for about a month and he seems to have grown
considerably in the stomach area, or he's bloated. It's been the same
for a couple of days. It's still swimming actively around the tank,
eating fine, and has no other bad signs. What could be going on here?
The other two fish are...

Has anyone else had a fish that had a large lump on their back almost
on their dorsal fin?
My fantail is about 6" and this lump just appeared. I don't know what
it is. A tumor?? He's about 6 1/2 yrs old. He's healthy. I've also
noticed lately that his scales are "pearlizing". Some of them...

Siphoning by
soup
Does anyone have a favourite technique or link to a site
where siphoning technique is described? Have googled
and many sites talk of siphoning but I have found none
that actually talk of the technique for siphoning. For
instance should the gravel be agitated while siphoning ?

Lethargic Calico by
Kodiak
I have a 4" Calico that went lethargic on me a few days ago.
He kind of pokes around but sinks to the bottom and sits on
the gravel most of the time. The only symptom i noticed was
a red spot on the tip of his tail, and a bit of redness at the base
of his belly fins (not the pectoral, not the anal,...

Fat fish continued by
Alex
I'm going to the pet shop asap to ask them about this bloated fish
problem. I read that it could be dropsy and to treat it with epson
salts. I have isolated it just in case. Does anybody have any other
ideas?
