Filter clogging by
Barkomatic
I have about a 300 gallon plastic pond with a submersible pump that
has a built-in "cage" that holds a fist-sized filter. The water is
pumped up to an external biological filter and also to a waterfall.
This spring the pond was so pea soupy that I totally emptied it and
started from scratch and...

type at 5000 lts & the other is a 9000 lts biological box type. They work
fine but as ever I'm looking for better water clarity / quality.
I seem to remember reading somewhere that adding an air stone into the media
of...

Charlie Brown
Hi
I have just bought a house with a fairly small pond 15ftx6ftx2ft and a
couple dozen goldfish in it. I have cleared out a lot of plants and
sludge - I don't think the pond has been cleaned for years (it is lined). I
found a OASE Aquarius 2500 pump in the bottom. Can anybody tell me what...

modular pond system by
darkfan
when i was working in Munich 6 years ago, i saw an infomercial on tv.
it was for a modular, click together pond system. the basic idea being
all joints between sections were identical. You could have streams
built from click together fibreglass sections, emptying into ponds of
various shapes etc....

Invasive water weed by
GDD
I got it when I bought some water lilies, didn't seem that bad until
yesterday when I tugged at it and the whole entire pond moved at the
same time.
I chopped some of it out and moved the rest within the pond to allow
the water lily to flower.
Obviously the difficulty is damselfly eggs, sporn,...

didn't rinse supra media and it clouded my pond by
Charlie
I installed a new bio uv filter for my 1500 gal pond. I neglected to
rinse the dust off the bio supra media, the result of my error is very
cloudy water. I have a mess on my hands. Will the filter eventually
clear this up, if so how long will it take? Any help or advise would be
appriciated....

Pond filter pumps in pools by
Kermit290
I am new to Google groups. Perhaps you can advise me.
I have a kids pool at my home that holds 713 gallons. I haven't found
a good solution for filtering the pool. All the pool filters for small
pools are poor quality, and not worth the money. I was recently
directed to pond filters.
I know...
