Scaled-back Pond Plan? by NW
I was going to install a pond of approx. 6' by 10' with a section that was around 3' deep. I'm considering scaling that back to be just a so called "bird pond" that is around 3' by 4' feet and only 6" deep. I want the sights and sounds of moving water but not a lot of maintenance. I'm going to...

Clay pond by Floydster
The top 2 metres of my land are clay. Can this be used to create a large pond without a liner? I have 4 acres of unused farmalnd in Scotland (very wet, very exposed) and would like to use the land for something more attractive. All ideas are welcome. Thanks, Floyd -- http://www.smellyhound.com

Koi Spawning by Mike C
My Koi appear to be spawning. I've never noticed this behavior before as they were probably too young. I found clear small balls floating on the top of the pond in clumps. I removed them the second time I saw them to a separate container (the first time I left them and they appeared to be eaten)....

I have this book for sale on eBay. Cheap and in great condition. It's a nice intro to how to set up a koi pond. Hopefully someone else will find it as useful as I did. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=4546227531&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMESE%3AIT&rd=1
