WTB: Amazon Frogbit by
DaveC
Which side of the pond are you on? I know a fantastic place here in the
UK:
http://www.aquaticplants.eu.com (aka Greenline)
I've ordered many plants from them before including frogbit.
Frogbit is quite a cool plant but I had to chuck it all out in the end
because I got a massive aphid...

Snail Eater? by
Boris
A few months ago, I set-up a new 54-gallon planted tank and had numerous
snails that came along with the plants. A while after introducing some fish
in the tank, I noticed they were gone. I mainly have community fish - but
can only attribute the disappearance to my Black Knife Ghost.
Do you think...

make it better.

OK....Yeast in the tank by
elkq
Yep I like many others decided to go with the CO2. I bought a small kit and
when I was installing it I started a siphon by accident and it ended up
sucking some of the yeast solution into the tank and now I cant clear it up
for anything. I waited about a week and a half to see if it would clear...

Vallisneria flower by
LeighMo
My Val's blooming. At least I think it's a Val. I've got some pics up:
http://www.fortunecity.com/lavender/halloween/881/vallis.htm
I really like this plant, whatever it is. It stays in tight clumps, rather
than spreading all over the tank. And it stays fairly short.

Looking for a good Co2 diffusser. Was looking at maybe getting the
following: http://www.plantguild.com/html/power_reactors.html
was wondering if anyone had experience with this diffuser rather good or
bad. And if it was a bad experience what kind of diffuser would you
suggest. Thank you.

hours of research this morning I now think it might be related to my potting
soil substrate so I'm posting this here. A really short summary: I set up
a new 60L (15 gallon) planted aquarium with potting soil substrate...

Snails - Benifit or Pest? by
Martin A. Gross
You know those little snails that come with every plant you buy? Why are
they considered to be a pest? Don't they virtually eliminate algae on plant
leaves? What is everyone's opinions of them? Are they beneficial to planted
aquariums, or are they a nuisance?
