My relandscaped 29gal tank by
Graham Broadbridge
I think it looks great, especially compared to the older photos.
Only comment would be to lose the stick-on thermometer on the front of the
tank and use something a little more discreet.
I wish I could find a supplier of that substrate :-)
Graham.

Comparison of Trace Mixes by
[email protected]
Hello all,
I recently came across a trace element mix in my local garden
supply/seed store produced by Whitmire Micro-Gen. Since the price is
only $1.50/lb as opposed to $6-$7/lb+ for mail order sources - I was
wondering what the experts here thought of the possibility of using
this for PMDD. ...

Heated substrate? Cable heaters? by
Tasslehoff
*top posted*
IMO after you've got sufficient lighting and a decent CO2 injection/reactor
system then you can spend whatever's left towards substrate heating. IME my
unheated substrate 3' tank is basically whatever the room temp is. After
tearing out some flourite to transfer to my heated 4' tank...

SAE agression by
Jeff Lowe
Two of my 7 S.A.E.s have taken to taken to chasing each other around. They
appear to be sucking the stripes off of each other. After a bout of chase
and nip their stripes are barely discernable, but come back overnight. Am I
right in assuming this is a territorial dispute between them? What are...

Fishless (temporary) planted tank question by
Cichlidiot
Hi all,
If you read my little disaster story last week in alt.aquaria, you would
know my 40g display tank is now fishless. I don't want to restock until I
move (late Aug/early Sep), but I do have plants in that tank that I'd like
to keep healthy until I restock. The plants are Aponogeton bulbs...

Great Service@Aquatic-store! by
Guy
Sorry I hit a "personal" spot with the CS rep. from another chain pet
store. But, in another industry of which I am a long-time hobbysist,
running, I happen to know more about running shoes than most any store
sales person. (with the exception of other runners who happen to work
for mail-order...

Glow in the dark plants? by

genetically altered with Cnidarian genes.
Well being a "plant" list.......
There are "glowing" plants as well, they have been around a long time.
A number of algae possess biolumenscese. They have a classic fire fly
tobacco GM mix in...
