Pond Aerator Question by
Randell Tarin
My wife and I have purchased some property that has a 2.5 acre pond on it.
I've been told by the previous owner that the pond is about 30 ft. deep at
its deepest point.
My question is this. Would it be possible to use a lawn sprinkler pump to
create a fountain aerator for this pond? Has anyone...

I have seen a product advertised in the US which can be used for sealing

Anybody seen this product...

pond cleaning by
G.M.
Has anybody drained a small pond, cleaned it, and refilled it? How
would I re-introduce my fish to the new water? The pond in question is
about 250 gallons in size and has been in operation since 1998. The fish
are gold fish and shubukum.
Thanks.

He's ORANGE!! by
Patrick Fischer
Ok. I inherited 3 koi when I bought my house in July 2004. (Two
black/orange/white and one black/orange) I have carefully maintained my
atrium pond and all are doing well. In August 2005 I bought a "bright
yellow" koi and introduced him to the pond. He's growing and seems happy.
I've been feeding...

Fantail fry by
PatC
I noticed my fish were spawning & I rescued a bit of pond weed with some
eggs attached & brought them inside in a one foot tank with some of the pond
water.
A few hatched 2 days ago.
They are very small & swim erratically & attach themselves to the glass on
the side of the tank.
What can I expect...

250 gal pond and need most efficent pump by
Lyn
Hi,
I want a pump that will cost the least to run since it will
be running fairly constantly. I plan mostly a water garden
so I will probably have lots of leaves dropping into water.
I will also keep mosquito fish in it. Any filter considerations
welcome!!!
So any recommendations for 250 gal....

suffering with a sludge issue. I have a pond that is 5m x 5m x1m and has
adequate filtration and plant cover. The fish are not overfed, and eat
everything I give them. I now have a green sludge forming around the...

KerplunKuK
Thanks to all who gave me information and advice about my first years fry.
I followed everything people said and expected two or three baby fish at the

Thanks all

Water lilly help by
tenthtiger
I have just noticed strange jelly like deposits on the underside of most of
the leaves of my water lilies in my pond. They appear to have eggs in them.
Can anyone tell me what they are and are they something to worry about? If
so what should I do.

I've got six koi, aprox 2-3 inches long. In the tank at the nursery where I

over a week and they continue to hide or race around the tank when I
approach. Can anyone tell me how long it takes them to warm up to you...
