Leaking waterfall by
moonier
I just recently build a water fall out of river rock and motor and have
tried several types of sealer, but the water keeps leaching through
somewhere and coming out under the sides of the water fall. I have gone back
and used caulking to seal any cracks that might be the cause, but still
continue...

Goldfish fry question - pond by
Nicole Thompson
The last couple weeks, I've noticed a few goldfish fry in my pond.
(and I did a happy dance I might add) :-)
I'm quite surprised b/c this is my first attempt at a pond.
(See "story" below if interested.)
However, I'm wondering if the older goldfish would eat them......
Everything I've found...

Help! Lime Green Water by
moonier
I have a smaller pond and waterfall, and it seems to stay pretty good as
long as I keep it running, although I have on occasion put in a pool
chlorine tablet to clean up the water. The summer heat seems to make it
worse.

More dying fish by
Mark Ellwood
I just got back from a week long canoe trip to the wilderness in northern
Ontario and discovered my own back yard wilderness has suffered. My pond is
400 gallons or so (4 feet wide by 8 feet long and anywhere from 12-30 inches
deep). I've got lots of oxygenating plants that have blossomed, but...

new pond owner questions by
Deswinds
This is my first pond and although familiar with aquariums this is a bit
different.
1 - Do I need to remove the goldfish and shubunkins to an indoor aquarium or
something for the winter? It gets cold here but not terribly. Can dip below
zero in the winter but not often. Snow rarely sits on the...

Draining Your Pond by
Brett Fogle
norraandchris,
Not a silly question at all...
There's no need to drain your pond, especially if it's 4' deep. One
thing I would recommend, however, is to shut off your pump during the
colder months. Why? Because in the pond you have thermal layers
(different temperatures) wherby the water at...

I have read the koi clay site. Seems it cures everything from koi bulimia

natural enough. Now I need some answers as to koi clay side effects. (1)
