mink? by lee
Any one any idea what is killing my gold fish in an outdoor pond. The fish are being killed and left on the side of the pond. I have seen otters in a stream 20metres from the pond. There are no visible signs of otters entering the pond. I know there are wild mink in the area- could they be killing...

winter planning for spring by [email protected]
Hi, I put in my pond this past spring and now I need to make all that changes I wanted to make this summer and ran out of time :) 1st thing is, because of budget, I had to go with a cheap home depot special sump pump for the pond. I would like to upgrade. I think I would prefer an external pump and...

free koi and gf in Houston area by Ann in Houston
I have a friend in the Pasadena area that needs to empty her ponds. They have taken to traveling a lot, and she isn't home enough to take good care of them. She has offered them to me, but I don't have room in my pond. One of the koi is well over a foot, I believe. They aren't likely to be...

New Pond - what now? by [email protected]
Hi, I've finally put in my pond liner and filled it with water. This is a year after I started digging my 5000L / 1100 gallon pond. I've added some water conditioner which I picked up from the local fish shop. Now what? How long should I wait before adding fish and plants? Han.

Horny Bunny? by Bill Stock
The rabbits have some sort of fascination with the pond cover. We had one tonight that sat there for about an hour, looking around, mostly watching the cat watching him. I don't know if they like the cover because it's slightly higher than the surroundings? If they like the small amount of...
