Preformed Pond Liners by
Jerry G
Hi All,
Paid big bucks for a liner for my 4'X 8'x 3' pond. Losing about 2
inches of water daily.....I doubt the waterfall can spray that much.
I'm really frustrated and want to just pull out the liner and replace
with a big rubber tub. Does anyone know of a tub this size?
Rubbermaid's BIG tubs...

Grass in pond by
S. M. Henning
Is there an easy way to control grass? I have many lilies, marginal and
oxygenator plants. There are frogs & tadpoles, snails and golden shiner
minnows also. The water quality is good and in general maintenance is
minimal except for pulling occasional weeds on the moss covered cement
walls and...

Wal Mart steps over a dollar to pick up a dime by
Roy
Was at Wal MArt today and happened to see a heap of preformed ponds
setting on a pallet outside the garden section. (15 total preformed)
I looked at them and there were two sizes / shapes, both relatively
large in size, but no price on them..I inquired inside on how much
they were, (actually hoping...

Pressurised filters by
question
Hi
I'm looking to replace my Hozelock pressurized filter with either an Oase or
Fishmate model. Does anyone have any useful feedback about these filters.
The single BIG advantage as far as I can see is that the spnges can be
flushed through in situ, so no more struggling to dismantle and...

Hi , I have had my pond about 7 years. I am in upstate NY with frigid
winters. Yesterday I had a major crisis. When I woke up the waterfall was
not working. I went out to look and noticed the pond had gone down about 8
inches (12X15---2200 gallons)
The Koi were in major distress, especially my...

Barley straw question by
elaine
We are still fighting the green pond thing although the water is clearing a
bit, thanks in part to something from Laguna that is supposed to make the
suspended alagae clump therefore making it easier for your filter to grab.
Not a big fan of the chemical thing, but since it said nothing about...

? about water line freezing by
Mike Miller
I have just finished expanding my pond, correcting a mistake I made. My
mistake was that the in-pond pump and waterfall were both at the same end of
the pond. The other end was a thin, narrow pebble beach. Because of its
thinness, and because the water was only circulating at one end,...

Kiddie pond mosquito controll by

I have removed some pond plants and put them in a kiddie pool, about 70

I already have a fair amount of skeeters trying to mature. Where do I go

I bought one of those pop-up ponds, does anyone know how to get it to fill

so. I have put egg rock in the bottom and I plan to...

waterfall on timer - okay to do? by
Larry
My waterfall feeds into a 90 gal. tank/pond. So far I have it going
off at 12am and on a 7am. Am I prolonging the life of the pump(I'm
sure it's a small one and not overly expensive) or is this just a myth
and should I just let it rip 24/7?
Any thoughts?
All the best,
Larry
