Calling all Canucks - sign in please by
elaine
Just out of curiosity how many of us are here are Canucks? I have
"inherited" a 15'x21'~3.5deep pond along with my new man and am trying to
figure out how to make the pond better. Being up in the "north country"
(winters start in October some years and can get as cold as -32c with 3-4'
of snow)...

Evaporation by
Keith Nuttle
I live in central Indiana, and we have experienced daytime temperatures
between 75 and 90 degrees with dew points of 55 to 65 degrees.
My pond has about 120 square feet of surface area.
Can someone give me an estimate, in gallons, of the evaporation during a
day.

Question for Kathy ref Watercress by
Ka30P
Hi Jay,
I've had watercress in two spots.
Right now it is at the bottom of my waterfall and has a foothold there. It has
grown and 'fallen' into the pond itself. It will grow roots wherever it touches
the water.
When I orginally 'planted' it I laid the stems down and stuck a rock on top of
it. The...

Hi.
We've recently moved into a new house, which has a pond in the front
garden, complete with installed pump/filter. It looks like it's been
done with standard pond liner and has at some stage been damaged and
now leaks. We're relatively inexperienced when it comes to ponds, but
would like to get...

Hello all.
I am new to this group so if this question was already asked I
apologize in advance. What I would like to know is if any of you have
constructed a waterfall on a natural rock outcropping, a piece of
ledge if you will. That is, make the waterfall and adhere the liner
