Fall Visitors by Bonnie
The pumps in my ponds are turned off but I decided to keep the trickle tower running for as long as possible. I noticed quite a bit of activity at the trickle tower and gave it a closer look. The cedar wax wings are back! Looked up in the nearby tree and it was covered with them. Hope they decide...

Pump in or Pump out? by Szpond
We live in Michigan (zone 5). Someone said to leave our pump in over the winter so that the seals don't dry out. Is it okay to leave the pump in the bottom of the pond (not running) for the winter, or shall we pull it and put in dry storage? Thanks, Cathy
