Size matters...... by DaBear
Ok, So a few weeks ago I get a call from my Dad, it seems he has finally gave in and put in a pond. A small preform, but hey it's a start...... I took him a few spare plants ( pulled some out of the compost heap where I'd thrown them not 5 minutes before ) I poked fun at his puddle, and he said it...

Warming filter over winter by RichToyBox
IMO you will need a whole lot more heat than that. I heat my small pond (about 2000 gallons) in the Richmond Virginia area with a 15 amp immersion heater unit, and cover the pond with a lean-to greenhouse made with several layers of polyethylene sheeting to keep the cold air and wind away form...

Pond vacuum by pixi
Did I read something about a wet-dry vacuum cleaner that would clean the bottom of the pond without having to empty the cleaner? That is, that debris and water just pass through the cleaner onto the ground. Or was I dreaming? Pixi
