UPDATE on Paralyzed Koi by Michael Grossman
I just wanted to update everyone on the Koi I wrote in about 5 or 6 weeks ago that had suddenly been paralyzed. He was motionless at the bottom of the pond. He only had use of his pectoral fins and nothing else. We moved him to a small preformed pond and had to hand feed him for the first...

Raccoon Repellent by bobkiely
I thought about that - in fact I was almost out the door to buy a dozen of them when I realized that even though I haven't see froggy for about 6 weeks now, being he was my favorite creature in the pond, I'd hate to find him stuck in a mouse trap. That's when I came up (with what someone named)...

feeding question by Deswinds
Can someone tell me what to do? or how to go about encouraging my fish to come to the surface to feed? Right now they wait for the "floating" pellets to sink to the bottom before they'll eat. I know, this is hardly a concern, generally, but my grandkids don't quite understand why they won't come...

What do you put in a return stream? by K30a
I would put in rock. We have rocks in our wide waterfall. Just have a plan about cleaning. Watercress grows in our waterfall and is very easy to rip out. Lots of debris caught in the roots comes with it. Some rocks too - those are replaced. k30a and the watergardening labradors

Croaker Question by Robert Ramirez
Up until a few days ago my tadpoles transformed into green croaker frogs. My question is quite simple how does one shut them up at night? Or an even better question is how does one catch the little guys? Thanks

I know this has been asked before but I'm going to ask again. Do I have to by pond salt or will regular salt pellets (the kind used in water softeners) work?

OT band groupie labradors and their band OT by K30a
Youngest son, the dyslexic webmaster, put a picture of eldest son's band on the bottom of the labradors' webpage. The picture is blurry on my monitor. He also put in a link to the webpage he built for the band. Warning - band page is heavy on graphics and do-dahs. Black background, coloured print,...
