Air pump for pond? by G & K Meyer
I have been doing some more looking, has any one tried the Laguna Aeration Kit? It is good up to a 2000gal size, so should easily take care of my pond. But would like to know how it holds up. And how big of a pump it is, air volume and watts/amps? Thanks again for you help. -- "Learn Something...

Question
Brass fittings by op910au
We have a small pond with 2 reasonable sized goldfish which has been established for some time. The pond itself is fibreglass I think with a waterfall feature using two fibreglass trays. I would like to add to the waterfall feature by using a large brass or more probably bronze tap, which is about...

Winterizing pond plants by kc
Okay, I tried to research this on the web, where I found a pond supply page listing water hyacinth and anachris as HARDY WINTER PLANTS--there go that page's credibility--mine just turn to mush if I leave them in, and I'm in zone 8! I have zebra grass, horsetail, pickerel, cattail, dwarf papyrus,...

unlisted number?: Anubody want to find Carolyn Adamo unlisted number? by [email protected]
Do you think telephones are private? Unlisted number actually unlisted? Think again. Your cell phone calling records are not as private as you may think. Companies are making money selling your cell phone calling records to whoever wants them. Who you call. When you call. How many times...

Fall pond update by Gail Futoran
My goldfish "pond" (150 gallon Rubbermaid stocktank) has lots of healthy plant growth so that should tide the goldfish over for the winter. Pump is still running and I'll let it run until we start to get freezes (assuming that happens - it may or may not here). I have goldfish babies I have to...

pump off or on? by Gary John
My first winter with a garden goldfish pond here in the UK. Do I turn the water pump (submersible) off or keep it on? If it needs to be turned off, do I take the 'Green Genie' out and clean all the internal filters. Sorry for asking two questions for the price of one! Cheers, Gary.

filtering duck ponds by Sky-Catcher
Does anyone have any advice on putting filtration onto a duck pond? I'm thinking of building a pond to have some gold fish and ducks. It would be about 20ftx20ft & 3ft deep. thanks, sky

Every time I put in new fish and nurture them up to a decent size, an egret comes along and eats them all. This has been going on for 8 years now. No more fish.

winterize pond by ken
My pond is three years old. I only have goldfish in the pond. Some are six inches long and some are smaller. I checked the water temperature today and it is at 48 degrees F. The fish are very active in that they swim around the pond as fast as they are able. They seem to be all over the pond...
