Koi fish to new home by
Brian Watson[_2_]
My son in law who lives on the outskirts of Cambridge is filling in his pond
soon in anticipation of some building work and so needs to find a permanent
home for about 30 Koi Carp in sizes up to about 12" long.
I understand they could be worth "serious money" so I am wondering (on his
behalf) how...

Oase Pond-Air 30 Alternative? by
Charlie[_3_]
I have used an Oase Pond-Air 30 air pump for wintering my fish over.
The last pump is about to bite the dust and Oase has discontinued the
manufacture of this little rotary vane guy. 1) Does anybody out
there have a Pond-Air 30 you would sell? 2) Do you have any idea
where I might find a...

Herons by
Tony Crabtree
HI,
We have had a successful, small (100 gallon), garden pond for some years.
We have lost some fish to raccoons, but with fishing line across pond to
deter herons, and a petstore electric fence to ward off raccoons, have
recently done well.
HOWEVER after a bird commotion today, we looked to see...

Wow, awesome story there dude. What kind of fish does he carry. Sounds

already gasing up their cars and heading to that shop to get a one

vacuum leak by
[email protected]
Hi, I have a fluid art challenger system running against our pond. I
suspect I have a vacuum leak somewhere since the pump starves for
water after about 10-12hrs. Any pointers on how one can diagnose the
problem? No apparent water leaks while the system is running.
TIA

My goldfish have got finrot, tailrot by

Hi
I've noticed recently that a couple of my fish (goldfish) have lost
their tails. I'm assuming this is tailrot\finrot. I've googled the
subject and discovered that it's quite easy to treat by medicine and a
partial water change but is there anything else I can do to make sure
it doesn't happen...
