Gallons of Water by

Is there a kind soul out there who knows math better than I do. I have a
fairly high IQ but my ability in math is about zero. For example. Many
years ago I took a course called "Drugs and Solutions." We were given a
test which was mostly math. I got half of them wrong. At the end of...

Mrs. Slocum has two lovely little buds! by
Gary Woods
Planted in a tub just this spring, and only aerial leaves visible a few
days ago.... IIRC, they don't mature all that fast, so probably can't claim
them for the next contest entry!
Then I'm off to the Seed Saver's Exchange meet in Iowa for a few days, so I
just hope I get to see the blooms...

Well, including night bloomers, I counted 16 blooms this morning. One
exotic is a Martin E. Randig hybrid called Leopardess. The night
bloomer exotic is the Rosa De Noche. The two hardies, I picked up at an
Armstrong Garden Center and they weren't labeled. Anyone want to hazard
a guess as to...

Panama Pacific by
~ janj JJsPond.us
I have this Tropical Lily (Panama Pacific) at 2 feet. The first bloom
opened under water. I figured it was confused from originally being on the
shelf, but now the 2 bud has also opened under water, about 3" shy of the
surface. The 1st bloom has since made it to the surface, just barely.
Anyone...

Help Required by

I have noticed a problem with a Goldfish for a while now. I noticed
that he had black marks on his gill covers and down both sides, just in
certain areas, not all over. This was noticed over a year ago when my
fish returned from my brothers pond, I'd moved house and had to wait to
build my pond. ...

Pump and Heat questions for FL above ground by
V.V.
Hello all, I finally found a tub from Tractor Suppy Company. Wondering if
y'all can give me some pointers. The tub is galvanized metal, 6ft in
diameter, 375 gallons. I have a two part question involving pump and heat.
I live in Naples Florida. Is there any issue having an above ground pond...

algae problem by
Ridge Roofing, Inc.
I have a spring fed pond that is approximately 120,000 gallons and is
stocked with trout. The water is very green with lots of algae plants
on the bottom. I did use aquazyme and it did nothing to help. After
reading many of the posts here I'm still not sure where to start. I
have been told that...
