I just noticed on one of my rocks a new 'growth'. It just started growing. Right now, it's a small, thin, white or opaque in color, growth, about 1/2" in length, with smaller 'branches' starting to form on it. Can anyone tell me what this might be? Thanks

I have a 75 gal tank I am about to start up, I plan to use a 20 gal Long as my sump, with a kit from usa_aquarium. I have two questions, first has any one used there kits before? The second question is how much of the 20 gal should I use?
