Flickering solved! by HyperCube33
So I finally solved the flickering issue. After leaving my lights on before a big trip this weekend, and having it jumped, the battery wouldnt hold a **** of a charge. I just kept a jump pack with and used it most of the weekend and put it on the charger for over a day. Finally it managed to...

Engine lights by [email protected]
I have a 2004 L300, six cylinder. This morning the engine light (the one that looks like and engine block) on the left side of the dashboard came on. This is the one under the headlight icon. There's also the same type of light on the right side of the dashboard, only that one has a down-pointing...

1997 SL1 Rear Doors Won't Open by skylooker
I recently bought a 1997 SL1 and the rear doors will not open from the inside OR OUTSIDE. Both doors appear to have the same problem. I have taken the switch and interior panel off and pulled on the connecting rods, but I can't get it to open. I can't remove the outer door panel without the door...

Saturn cameos on TV by marx404
Ok, I don't normally watch this cr*p, the wife had it on the channel and my ears caught a quick reference to Saturn on tonight's episode. Dan Ackroyd was on World According to Jim and said "I have a Saturn, it's kind of like being in a club". Kinda cool I thought. I remember a few months ago on...

Donating Car to Rural Charity... by Joe[_11_]
CLIP PORTIONS OF A GREAT POST... Thank you! I most definitely appreciate a technical answer rather than someone trying to simply convince me to not do it... > That said, as a fellow resident of the State of NJ, disabling the PCV > system will remove an EPA required emission control -- The...

Donating Car to Rural Charity... by Joe[_11_]
1995 SL1 - SOHC I've been working with a charity in rural NY state for close to 20 years... And they need a donated car that runs well for a theme-oriented use. It would be donated forever and they would probably only put a few thousand miles per year on it, but it will idle and ride around...

1999 SL-2 rough idle by Pete KE9OA
Hi folks, I just changed the wires and plugs at 80k. Still has a rough idle, with check engine light. The diagnostic testor says "slow o2 sensor response". I am not sure where this sensor is located. This has the larger engine. Pete

2001 LW200 ignition woes by Steph[_1_]
Luckily we have a Extended Service agreement, so if the problem is truly fixed it only cost us the $50 deductible. Notcied the car was louder suddenly. Sounded like the valve covers or maybe a header was loose. Didn't see any drippings or smoke out of the pipe, but the oil appeared low. Filling...

2001 SL1 misfire trouble by princessrapunzel
I'm looking for a little help here please: We went away on vacation and ur 2001 SL1 sat for about 10 days. I tried to start it when we got back and it ran very badly to say the least. It was misfiring, had a strange odor from exhaust, and had no power. I let it run for a few minutes and gave...

GM10 Trunk Connector to PC? by HyperCube33
I'm wondering how to find specs on the control protocall the changer uses to perhaps interface a carputer to the stock radio. I know its possible to get RCA inputs through this connector but the device (GM10-AUX) seems a bit overdone.
