Repairing door lock actuator by
Mark G.
Good morning!
The L/H front door lock actuator on my 1991 Accord is broken.
I removed it hoping that the problem would be dirty contacts.
Instead, I found a tiny spring had broken through its plastic "pocket"
on what appears to be a clutch mechanism (a spring-and-ball
affair I suppose.) Has anyone...

how to change the tps on a honda by
jim beam[_4_]
the throttle position sensor on a honda throttle body is usually
very reliable. but on high mileage vehicles, they can fail, and the
honda recommended repair is replacing the whole throttle body - very
expensive. the reason for this is presumably calibration, which is very
important - it's...

98 Civic Blower motor noise by
Question Quigley[_3_]
My '98 civic will be humming along with the blower fan on and all of a
sudden it will make a gawd-awful noise like something is stuck in the fan.
I pulled the fan and operated it out of its housing and it seemed to be OK,
with no noise and no noticeable wobbling or imbalance.
Any...

Electrical bug by
Nasty[_3_]
My 2000 Accord radio and aux power plug have quit working. They are
dead, no power. I can't find a fuse for them in either fuse box nor an
inline fuse. Am I just missing it or is there more to the story than
just a blown fuse?
Thanks in advance.

advice requested from 2008 or new CR-V owners by
Guy[_2_]
Just want to learn from your experiences or advice if you own a 2008
or newer CR-V. I have a 2010 CR-V LX with no roof rack.
How do you secure a protruding ladder, lumber or such from inside your
vehicle? I know the back door shuts down so how do you protect it's
bottom from slamming on...

All of a sudden my quiet exhaust system went loud, and on inspection
there's a huge exhause leak at the rear of the converter near where it

need a new converter.
I would appreciate any recommendations as to where to buy one at...

Recommended Mileage for Timing Belt Replacement? by
jgarbenzel
Hi,
I have a Honda Accord 2001 with a little over 80,000 miles. Is time
due for timing belt replacement?
I asked several Honda service centers in the area and each one of them
gave me a different answer (and a vague one!).
Some say it should be replaced at 70K miles. Some say replace it at
100K...
