How many miles can I get out of Ford Tempo by [email protected]
Mine was awesome as far as I had no problems, just changed the oil and regular maintenance but be careful turning, mine rolled head over heels, not sure if something broke as I was turning, but I've read this is a issue.

How To Find Top Dead Center On A Chevy 327? by [email protected]
On my commuter car, which has a hemi style head, I remove the spark plug and insert a long narrow diameter plastic rod. I put the car in neutral and rock the car back and forth until I know I'm at Top Dead Center. How do I find Top Dead Center on an engine like a Chevy 327?

Over speed indicator? by Paul in Houston TX
Many US cars from the 1960's had a buzzer that you could set for any speed. Go over that speed and the buzzer would go off. It looks like no US made cars have that now. Anyone know of an aftermarket one?

'84 Toyota Cressida: Runs Fine, But Every Dash Warning Light Is Lit. Thoughts On ? by Robert11
Hello, Here's an interesting one. My wife has a '84 Toyota Cressida waggon. Her pride and joy; very low mileage on it, about 43 K only. Best car we ever bought. Live outside of Boston, and car has always been left outside. Car starts up just fine as always, and seems to run just fine.

1990 Ford F150 questions by papadad
Hi, I have a couple questions on a 1990 Ford F150 straight 6 with auto transmission. Two questions 1. how do I drain/flush/change the transmission fluid. Is it as simple as removing a bolt from the tranny, draining, and refilling? Also, presume I need a new tranny filter too? And how many...

Gasoline, not all the same by Bailey B
After talking with several drivers of gasoline delivery trucks I found some interesting opinions: 1. They all agree that each brand is unique as to additives and number of times its filtered before going into your tank. 2. Each had a preference of what brand of fuel they use in their car, and they...

gas gauge reading by cpliu
I drive a 94 Camry which still works great after 180K miles. I've been record the gas gauge reading trying to know fuel efficiency in the past few years. I'm a little puzzled on how it works and the accuracy of the reading. My observations: I suspect the sensor is in the front part of the tank as...

Speed limiter wanted Does any car come with a speed limiter like this? I do not want to worry about speeding and would like to be able to set my top speed to 35 mph, or 55 mph, etc. while driving. Pedal to the floor and I max 35 mph through small town speed traps. A long time ago cars used to have...

air filter brand and change interval question by Ashton Crusher[_2_]
So, aside from oil and filters, what are people doing for air filter change intervals, do you follow the maintenance schedule in the owners manual, or ???? Most of my vehicles have called for changes at around 15 or 20K miles and that's more or less when I change the filter. Only exception is if...

Over-riding auto transmissions... by Proctologically Violated©®
Awl-- I happen to have a 2004 Nissan Frontier pickup, auto, but this is a general Q: I assume that the hydraulics in auto transmissions are (now) electrically actuated, judging from the gear "drop-down" button on the shift handle. Is there thus a way to control or over-ride *all* the gears in an...
