Headliner board question by
stryped[_3_]
I have a 1996 chevy extended cab truck. I took the headliner board out
intending to replace the material. Parts of the board came off. Can I
sand down the ridges and will the material cover the slight
imperfection? Also in places I can see light through the board and it
is weaker in that area where...

Why would AC only work when foot is on gas? by
David
Our family has two Isuzu Rodeos, a 1995 and a 1997. The AC on the 1995
works great. the 1997 stinks. On the '97 Rodeo when I'm sitting still,
it gets very hot when the car is idling. My first thought is that the
engine is getting so hot, I need to be moving to have the additional
air cooling. ...

1990 Integra Stopped running by
[email protected]
Driving a block a way from home my Acura Integra just stops running,
the electrical stayed on but the engine was dead. Trying to turn the
car over only resulted in a "starter" winding noise but the engine
would not turn over. After waiting 5 min I tried again, the car
started, moved 10 yards then...

[email protected]
Greetings
1971 Olds Cutlass 350 4 bbl, 60K miles.
Running, driveable, but not great.
Not driven much in the past 4-5 years, getting her back on the road.
Points/cap/rotor/wires (from 4-year old tuneup) surprisingly OK,
cleaned some minor oxidation from cap contacts. Replaced plugs w/
factory...

pimp my ride: a fairlane isn't cool? by
Nate Nagel[_2_]
A new low. X picked up a '63 Fairlane and instead of "pimping" that
out, he gave the kid an '05 4Runner instead.
Just send me the Fairlane please, if it's such a bucket. I know it's a
4-door. I don't care. I'd rather have that than a 4Runner any day...

World's cheapest small car (weird-lookin, but cheap!) by
[email protected]
Hi folks, I would like all you guys to check out the world's cheapest
car. Its supposed to cost only around $ 2000 (maybe a bit more) and
its being launched in India...can you believe it. Its a bit odd
looking, but then again...if you can buy a car at only 2 grand not
many would actually complain...

Bushing Installation Question by
Chris F.
I've finally begun installing the new bushings on my '88 Civic; this is a
Prothane total kit which covers everything but the two large trailing arm
bushings. One obvious difference between these and the originals, that
caught my attention, is with the inner upper control-arm bushings, #25 on...

Ford pickup low voltage at idle by
Nate Nagel[_2_]
I think I posted about this before, but never really got beyond two
suggestions...
Problem is this. When truck is idling, if enough accessories are turned
on, voltage will start to drop, and keep on dropping as if the battery
is discharging. Voltage at battery with key off is about 12.9...

'96 Caprice w/ignition key chip:CAN SOMEONE TELL ME HOW TO DIACONNECT by
Raymond A. Miller
HELLO'
inherited 1996 Caprice Classic when my dad passed on. He was a real stickler
on having all the options he even remotely might want. My problem is I am
always loosing keys, and the least expensive around here is about $25.00 at
a piece.
I need to know how to disable this system. Can...

Hi everyone, I am trying to get my belt tensioner off for my '91 Chevy
Cavalier 2.2 L. The only thing is I am having trouble getting one last bolt
off that holds the power steering pump, which you have to remove to remove
the tensioner. It is in the back of the pump, on the opposite side where...
