I want to change my spark plugs in my Venture 2002, but the back 3 are too hard to get at. Is there any good reason that I can't at least replace 3 of the 6 plugs. Or is it all or nothing deal? I will be selling the van in a year from now, so will put a cheap pair of plugs to replace. (I...

I have a 74 Chevy 350, with a TH350. Everything was working great, except I noticed a vacuum leak in the carb body. So I change the carb first thing the next week. Start the car real quick for a sanity check, then turned it right off to go grab my tools to set the idle. Now car will not start. ...

Starter blues by Zteve20
Hello. I've been swapping out the old 305 carbureted engine in my '86 Trans Am to a 350. I checked the block number on the 350 in a small block Chevrolet engine book I have and found that it is a '76 block that was supposedly used in trucks and high performance applications. On the bottom side of...

Question, I have 2 new Dunlop SP40's in front of my sedan, and in the rear, I am thinking of getting something better, like Michelin HydroEdge. Is this a good idea or should I keep all 4 tires the same, plus the spare? (this would allow ease of rotation) Dunlop SP40 seem OK, don't know how they...

Adaptive variable suspension (AVS) in '97 Lexus ES300 by Mark[_27_]
I have a '97 Lexus ES300 with 112K miles on it. I have the adaptive variable suspension (AVS) that allows you to change the dampening of the suspension via a switch located in the center console area (next to the gear shifter). I have been getting a lot of 'thumping' noise when I go over even small...
