Ford Focus by
Mr.E
Looking at a 2012 Ford Focus and a 2011 Toyota Corolla-basic
models-automatic transmissions. Wonder what problems have been seen by
those who own or have input on above vehicles?

A/c completely dead, need advice by
Masospaghetti
Hey all,
Car is a 1986 Honda CRX. Where should I start looking for trouble if
pushing the A/C button does _nothing_? No increased idle, no condenser
fan, and obviously no cooling. the only thing that happens is the little
"A/C" light turns on.
Thanks
James

Torx rotors screws stuck on 96 Volvo 850 by
[email protected]
In trying to replace the distributor cap and rotor I ran into a problem
getting the torx screws out that hold the rotor on. They won't budge.
I'm pretty sure it's the original rotor on there because it's really
worn out so I'm confident that it's causing my gas mileage problem.
I tried using a...

99 Isuzu rodeo 2.2 liter head gasket by
jetboy
I have blown a head gasket on my 99 Isuzu Rodeo 2.2 liter. Although it
still runs it overheats badly and I know because of the white smoke
out of the tail pipe, I need to pull the head. Where I live, they want
over $100 for the water pump and most places don't carry the gasket
set. I have found...

Vibrating/resonating tailpipe by
[email protected]
I have a '99 dodge dakota that recently had the catalytic converter and
exhaust pipes replaced.
I'm now getting a strange resonating sound between 30-40 mph -- It
sounds like someone blowing across the top of a pop bottle. The sound
stops when you let off the accelerator. It's definitely coming...

Lug nut star pattern by
John D via CarKB.com
Is the star pattern sequence for torqueing lug nuts used soley to prevent
rotor warp? Is there any more danger that a wheel could come loose from
the hub if tightened in a circular fashion?

1998 Saturn SW2 wheel spec question by
Larry Harvilla
By any chance, does anybody know the wheel offset (or wheel backspace)
specification for OEM black steel wheels on a 1998 Saturn SW2? I know
that they are 15" diameter, 6" wide rims with a 4x100 lug pattern, but I
can't find the offset anywhere on the 'Net.
Thanks in advance.

can be a pain with continual problems, are they worth it? you carry your
car to a
dealer, they repair it, the next thing you know the warning light comes
on again,
what in the world is going on, I'd rather not have this feature?
chrysler was the first with the hydraulic brakes, and possibly the...
