Ivan Vegvary[_2_]
1991 Mazda B2600
Replace valve seals. Need to reinstall rocker arms shaft assembly.
This model has 12 valves and 10 (5 pair) bolts holding the over-cam rocker arm shaft to the cylinder head. The rocker arms slide back and forth on the shaft probably 10 thousands of an inch.
Don't want to force...

Crackling/"rustling" noise in Chrysler 300M by
Percival P. Cassidy[_2_]
While driving at freeway speeds today, I could hear an annoying noise in
our '02 Chrysler 300M -- like rustling leaves, perhaps, but loud and
constant.
Turning off the fan didn't seem to make any difference. When the car was
not moving, there was no such sound, even when I cranked the fan up to...

Have you ever heard this noise in an engine after a VCG repair? by
Arthur Wood
Subject: Have you ever heard THIS SOUND inside your engine?

car until I figure out how to figure out what the noise is.
This only started after I did some work...

Do you have the electronics skills to design a good home made smoke machine? by
Arthur Wood
All we need to find vacuum leaks in a complex engine is a smoke machine
that works. All it needs to do is...
a. Emit lots of smoke that won't clog up an engine when it condenses, and,
b. Constantly push that smoke at a couple of psi for about a half hour.
We made a smoke machine to work on a...

Kumho tires by
[email protected]
I bought new about eight years ago for my 1983 Dodge B250 van. I had the van in storage for almost two years. Last week when I drove the van I heard a humming noise. I only drove the van about 2,240 miles since I had the new tires. Would the age of the tires cause the humming noise?
