My '94 Daihatsu Mira has lost drive due to a clutch fault. Can anyone
advise on whether the clutch can be removed/inspecteted in car or does
the engine need to be removed. Any advice or tips on this and where
to get techinal data or w/shop manual will be hugely appreciated.
Steve.

How to remove? - rear passenger spark plug wire by
inetquestion
Specs: 1998 ford explorer, 4.0, SOHC, and a really frustrated driver!
Is there any way to get this plug wire off without ripping it out. I
can touch it, but do not have the leverage needed to remove the stuck
boot. It doesn't appear that there is anything capable of being removed
that will allow...

2004 Cavalier adding factory cruise by
kwkride
My wife has a base model 2004 Cavalier. She wants cruise added to it.
The dealer did a terrible job of installing an aftermarket cruise and I
had them remove it.
Now, I've pulled all of the parts including the harness from a wrecked
2003 Cavalier with a manual transmission and installed it on her...

Reliability of 4A engine (corollas, novas) by
Masospaghetti
Just wondering if anyone has had any experience with the 4A- series of
engines (SOHC 8V) found in Corollas from 83(?) - 91 and Novas. I've been
told that its an iron horse from one mech and that its a piece of crap
from another.

KC
I have a 1998 Windstar, 3.8 L engine, with front and rear heat/air
conditioning. Last week as I am driving the car, one minute I have
heat. The next minute no heat at all, just fans blowing cold air out of
both the front and back systems. I haven't taken the dash apart to take
a look, but I am...

Noise Source? - High pitched vaccum/damper sound by
inetquestion
Specs: 1998 ford explorer, 4.0, SOHC
I notice this noise slightly all the time. There is a slight hiss, but
I'm unable to determine the source. It becomes much more noticable when
I change the position (accelerate or decelerate) of the gas pedal on a
smooth section of hi-way. It also does the same...

2004 Mustang Convertible: Rust on pedal levers. by
pater
It's a ragtop, coulda rained at one point in it's career while the top
was down. As long as there is no serious rust anywhere else on the car
I wouldn't get excited. Seems there should be at least a coat of paint
on the pedals to prevent such a situation. Is it rusted thru the paint
or are they...

Jag XK8 / XKR
I've been looking at used cars again.
I can get a 00 to 02 XK8 or XKR for ~$25k with 35k miles.
All my cars have lasted 10 years or 225k miles before trade in.
Any thoughts on the Jag?
Future parts availability?
Reliability?
Or would I be better off with an 03/04 Infinity G-35 sport...

FINALLY found the true source of my "loss of power" problem... by
Don Bruder
I posted a couple-few weeks ago about my '82 Mazda 626 having
intermittent issues with losing power under load - At that time, figured
that the trouble was related to a dead or dying Alternator not putting
enough juice to the battery, and therefore interfering with spark -
Seemed to make sense,...
