Can I get a louder horn? by NB
This ****ing idiot almost hit me today when she totally wasn't paying any attention and changed into my lane just as I was driving past her. I honked at her, but gotta say that my horn volume didn't seem all that loud. How much would it cost to get a louder horn, and is that even legal in the US?

Can I switch back to synthetic oil without flushing? by A. Nonimus
Okay, here's the deal, bear with me it may be hard to explain: At around (just guessing) 5000 miles I had my new Honda serviced and they recommended I change the oil because even though it was only 5000 miles it was over a year old. They explained that this would make the car run better and last...

Can rain get inside my Honda's door? by Gary
Recently I watched a repairman fix my Honda door. With the inside shell off, there is a plastic wrap that has to be cut at the top to get at the hardware behind it. When the repairman reassembled the door he kind of used his hand to get a corner of the plastic to rest back in place. He didn't tape...

Can the immobilizer on a 1999 Accord stop the engine after starting? by LakeGator
A couple of days ago my engine just stopped while on cruise at highway speed. The engine had been running quite happily for about an hour. The only light on the dashboard that lighted was the green immobilizer light which is the reason I look in that direction. I turned off the ignition and...

Hello, I was hoping that some kind person could tell me which year model Accords this alloy wheel was originally issued for. If you have any other years that it would fit as well, that would be great. The wheel is 15 X 5 1/2" in size. Thanks! Pat

Can you pushstart MT 1991 Civic? by [email protected]
I only ask because looking at the ECM PRG-EFI relay it sure looks like it would be rather difficult to do. Anone done it? Just thinking about the time my starter died in my 1981 Subaru 4WD. I was parked on a hill, so it was easy to slip it into reverse, roll backwards and pop the clutch. I suspect...

Can you really get a good car at Government Auctions? by [email protected]
Is an Auction worth it for buying a car? There's info on Google yes, but I'm curious for current first hand experience. Any experiences good or bad? I already know the basics of not to buy if title isn't available, to not pay more than bluebook (duh) and to do a search on the VIN. Otherwise, can...

Can you repair/patch a high performance tire? by Rob B
I have v-rated Bridgestone Potenzas on my Prelude. One of them has a slow to medium leak. My common-sense says that a patched tire will not have the same characteristics as an un-patched one. (ie it won't be as safe to drive around like a high-speed maniac). New tire x 2 = expensive 1 patched...

Can you siphon gas from a 97 Accord LX? Need quick answer! by Ranking
Today or tomorrow is my last chance to siphon any gas. Here's the deal: My 97 Accord was totaled last week, the day after I filled the tank. The other driver was cited, it was his fault, but his insurance company won't pay for the gas. So I'm trying to siphon it out. The hood is smashed in, so I...

Sorry to be posting this again but I'm still stuck and hope that a fresh pair of eyes might spot this and be able to help. I've added the latest developments at the bottom. Having bought a second-hand Accord Executive (UK, 2001 automatic 2ltr) > we thought it prudent to order a new key from our...
