On the web,
Gaylord Cars
I remember way back in the 1950's reading an article in a Mechanix
Illustrated magazine about those cars.
If somebody started manufacturing and selling them again, I bet they
would sell like hotcakes.

GE Nighthawk headlamps for Mazda Protege OK? by
[email protected]
I have a 2000 Mazda Protege ES
Headlamp is burnt out so went shopping for a lamp. Boy
is the technology changed a lot! Not sure what to buy
So I bought the GE Nighthawk 9003 lamps. Are they OK
with my small car? Or will they get so hot as to melt
something or cause fire?
Opinions please?

gear shift problem? transmission problem? by
[email protected]
I have a 2000 Mazda Protege, automatic. I've been having a problem with
my gear shift; at least, I think that's what the problem is. Whenever
it's fairly cool (less than 60 degrees) and dark outside, my car won't
shift out of park. It's as if it doesn't realize that I have my foot on
the brake....

gearbox is jamming - nissan micra 1.2 '89 by
carl
Hello all,
I'm sorry to post that the gearbox of my nissan micra is functioning
alarmingly difficultly.
It seems something is wrong with 3rd gear, but only when passing from 3rd to
neutral or to all other gears ( I didn't try from 3rd to reverse ;-) but in
that case it wouldn't come as a surprise...

Gearshift Location by
Bob[_53_]
Hello,
Just curious:
Do any of the new family size sedans, or SUV's have as an option
(anymore) having the gearshift on the steering wheel column ?
Or has that totally gone away now ?
Any cars offer it ?

GEICO Roadside Assistance by
Buck Turgidson
Just curious if these plans adjust their rates based on experience, i.e. if
I ha a dead battery one month, and now a bad starter, and require a tow,
will they increase the rate on me for using this service?

1999 Ford Explorer-GEM issues
I have issues with my Keyless pin pad on the drivers door.
The GEM module appears to have issues and has a huge power draw when
the door is shut, and when the door is open the power draw is less than
when it is closed.
Can anyone help, I don't want to get taken by the...

General Tire Question by
ChrisCoaster
(Not a question about "General TIres" - just a tire question in
general!!) ;)
As tires wear down over the course of their life, can the ride given
by them become harsher/rougher? Or does that have more to do with the
aging of the tire rubber itself?
My question assumes all other things being...
